Whilst working as a full time makeup artist, I fell out of love with the beauty industry and found myself wondering where I wanted to go forward in life.
I decided to trade in my makeup brushes for a whisk and take the plunge into the sweeter side of life... I’ve been a fully qualified pastry chef for almost 10 years and whilst working in production kitchens, I found myself always drawn to the creative side of celebration cakes and buttercream.
Within my 3 years of having my own business, I have won both ACADA and ACDN 2024 Buttercream Artist of the Year, taught in-person workshops in Melbourne, QLD and NSW and now launched online tutorials. I have been on cake decorator expo stages and vendor stalls in Miami USA, Melbourne VIC and Birmingham, UK. Save Me Some has been featured in various magazines/articles/catalogues and I also gratefully work very closely with Australia's leading cake decorating brands; Colour Mill, Loyal Bakeware, Cakers Warehouse & Get Sprinkled.
I’m really excited to see what my future hold and I have one goal in mind for my business; for those who try my cakes to fall inlove and ask for seconds, “Hey, Save Me Some!”.
